Safely home

The journey from Spanish Springs (nr Oxford) FL to Orlando International Airport was fine.  Fine, - except that we got a bit lost!

We stayed at a hotel that was, well, less than great.  But we were pretty well tired out by all the excitement in the Spanish Springs square with all the old codgers in their golf buggies parading in support of Donald Trump.
It was all a bit too much to cope with.  It was a bit detached from reality.  Here we were in a region that the yanks had wanted to re-create Spain, and so that's what they had done.
Here we were watching people who were total Donald Trump fans.  They seemed detached from reality for sure!!
But leaving this place should have been simple.  Somehow we ended up on a different route from the one we had planned.  Result, - we had no idea which road we were on for a very long time of the last bit of our journey.
However, we made it!  With about an hour to spare for returning the hire car.
Checking in was easy.
Lunch was easy.
Having a doze was easy while we waited the next 4 hours to board our flight.

And now we are back in Blighty.

Don't give up on the blog just yet dear readers, because Tim is going to post some stats about the trip, (Yay! miles per gallon and stuff like that), and Ruth is going to do a kind "Best of Harveymoon" blog-post (things we liked and things we didn't care for).
