Wytheville, Virginia

After our disastrous day on Sunday, caused by getting lost trying to find the church we went to, torrential rain, and a massive hold up blocking the I-81 at the Wytheville junction, we settled down to normality in Deer Trail RV park.
A nice, small, rustic established, campsite, with a variety of facilities.
A swimming pool, a stream running through the site and a well stocked shop.
Several play areas for children.
Fairly normal.
Normality here also means guns.
We heard gunfire as we set up Harvey on the first night, and hoped it was someone having a bit of shooting practice.
Then we noticed that our neighbour across the way from us wore a gun constantly at his hip.
We should be OK with him as our neighbour!  He will protect us!
But have no fear, - I was armed with my trusty Swiss Army Wife and a sharp stick.
Hey ho!
Happy days.

Much safer when you carry a gun!
