Thank you for your prompt response (below).
I have another problem that I think you may be able to help me with.
Ruth and I played Rummikub last night. It's a game that I have been consistently winning.
She won.
And she said "Sorry" afterwards.
Was she sorry for winning?
Do you think she should say "Sorry" so much? I thought she would be happy for winning, and not sorry.
Please help.

Short answer: 'No!' (Excepting underwear of course!!).
Stand your ground on this one Tim.
Too much washing causes washing machines to break down whereupon Ruth will seek out a neighbour and wreck theirs too!
My tip is to buy her baking tins and she will be kept too busy baking to want to keep doing washing.
