There were a couple of beautiful butterflies we saw mating
by the side of the Potomac River.
Our apologies for the quality of the next photos. It was as close as we could get with the camera we have, and have had to blow them up a bit too much. But it will give you the idea.
We saw a whole lot of birds of prey over the Grand Canyon of
Pennsylvania. From the description
posted near the overlook viewing point we think they were either turkey
vultures, or ospreys.

Then on our way home from church this morning, we saw what
we think was a bald-headed eagle on the telephone wires. We stopped Harvey underneath the bird, and just managed to get a shot, as it flew off.

Back at the Tanglewood campsite at lunch time we saw humming
birds on our next door neighbour’s bird feeder.
Tiny little birds with wings that flap at 50 times a second. One is on the "I" of Tioga on Harvey. The other is perched on the washing line, to the left of the picture.
Awesome!
