First stop, - Orlando

We got up really early and went to Gatwick Airport, London.
Gatwick is situated very near to my daughter, so we went to her house first and then on to Gatwick.
After the check-in we all went for breakfast inside the airport.  All, meaning, me, the new Mrs Ruth Elizabeth P, my daughter Ruth (the ORIGINAL Ruth Elizabeth Parfitt), and Anna and hubby Dave.
A full English later and we boarded on time, left on time, and arrived on time.
Not bad.

The worst bit was the arrivals at Orlando MCO airport.  It took over an hour to be herded through the customs procedure!  Too many holiday makers all going to Disney and the like!
But we made it.
Getting the hire car was fun.  The staff at Dollar car rental all seemed very jolly and helpful.
We ended up with a posh Hyundai saloon car and we purred our way to the hotel at the north end of Orlando for the first night before picking up Harvey the RV.
Very hot here.  94 deg F, whatever that is in real money.
Ruth is looking forward to a big downpour of rain.  She loves the rain for some strange reason, unless it's wet playtime at school.
It looks she's going to get it today!
