We only stayed one night at the toothless woman's site in Boone. The truth is that there wasn't much to do there and the location was right next to a main road, so we were happy to shove off anyway.
With a hop-skip-and-a-jump we set off again! Heading to Bristol via Damascus sounds a strange way to go, but that's exactly what we did.

The mountains have brilliant roadways for having a cruise. No speed-merchants up here. No three-lane motorways. Just beautiful winding roads weaving in and out of the mountains, with overlooks every few hundred metres. It's a tourist's paradise.
Most things are BIG here. Big roads. Big RV's (campers). Big cities. Big lorries (trucks). Big bikes. Big people.
